Newtown Historical Society presents:

Cyd Cipolla, Clinicial Associate Professor of Media, Culture, and Communication at NYU's Steinhardt School, will present a talk titled "Put Yourself Back in the Narrative: The Past, Present, and Future of Women in Science." Dr. Cipolla's talk explores the question of the under-representation of women in STEM fields as an introduction to some of the major ideas in feminist studies of science, including the central issue of the ethics of care, and discusses strategies for how we can encourage greater gender diversity at all levels of STEM education.
