Exploring Science with Charbel: Color Chromatography In-Person
Do you love bright and vibrant colored art supplies? Do you ever wonder how these colors are made? The variety of colors comes from colored molecules that are mixed into the material used to make the product. Some colored molecules are man made, others are extracted from natural sources, such as the chlorophyll molecules in spinach. Even though our eyes see a single color, the color of markers and spinach may be the result of one color molecule or a mix of color molecules. Join scientist Charbel Khalil for some fun color chromatography experiments. Open to ages 6-10 with an adult partner.
