Nature's Book Club: Thoreau: a Life by Laura Dassow Walls In-Person
Nature’s Book Club reads a variety of non-fiction books about all aspects of nature – land, water, air, plants, and animals. We seek to learn not only from what we read, but also from the experience and connections that members bring to the group. We believe that by reading and learning together, we can better care for our own land and foster awareness in the greater community. All are welcome. Registration is appreciated.
Copies of Thoreau: a Life by Laura Dassow Walls are available at the Circulation Desk. This meeting will cover pages 1-250 with the remainder being discussed at the May meeting. If you would like to attend via Zoom please email jnash@chboothlibrary.org
This program is sponsored by the Pootatuck Watershed Association (PWA) whose mission is to promote and preserve the Pootatuck River, its drainage basin and underlying aquifer; to encourage sustainable land use and development; and educate the public and engage students. The moderator is PWA President, Randy Walker.
