From before its opening in 1931 to the present day, the Fairfield Hills Hospital has been an epicenter for controversy. Whether the debate concerns where it should be located or what should be done with its decaying buildings, arguments about the institution have often been shrouded in a vague mist of myth and misconception regarding what occurred there.
