The public is invited to attend the kickoff event for Timeless Newtown. Representative Mitch Bolinsky will be present to read a special proclamation from Governor Ned Lamont, officially launching this community-wide initiative. The event will also mark the beginning of the community book giveaway, featuring Ageism Unmasked: Exploring Age Bias and How to End It by Tracey Gendron, PhD.

All community members are encouraged to read the book and participate in meaningful conversations around age, intergenerational connection, and well-being. The program will culminate in a special author event with Dr. Gendron on Thursday, September 18th at Edmond Town Hall.

Timeless Newtown is a 2025 initiative, designed to bring generations together through shared experiences, discussions, and activities focused on nutrition, exercise, creative expression, and the mind-body connection for life.

This is a free event, open to all.
