Grateful Gathering: Seeking Simplicity In-Person

This month, Grateful Gatherings will take place on the Third Floor of the library in Study Room #1.

Grateful Gatherings is a program supported by Grateful.org, a global nonprofit dedicated to cultivating gratitude as a way of life. Gatherings take place in 24 countries around the world.

Our gathering is a wisdom circle providing a welcoming space for individuals to reflect and engage in meaningful conversations around gratitude and its role in fostering connection and well-being (both personally and within our community). Gatherings include guided reflections, interactive discussions, and invitations to simple practices designed to inspire a sense of appreciation, elevate joy and create an upward internal and external spiral.

Donna Vella is our Grateful Gatherings Host, as well as a positive psychology educator, Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide and a Newtown resident. This event will take place on the second floor of the library near the Library of Things.
